“Christmas is expensive anyway, and with the way the economy is, everyone’s trying to save money,” owner Tony Chambers said. “So we all got together to give back a little bit and give people an opportunity to get their Dixie Direct and some bonuses with it.”
Give the gift of savings with four bonus options to choose from. The $49 package includes Dixie Direct’s 2024 edition plus a $20 gift card to your choice of any of seven restaurants (Cliffside, Cafe Sabor, Handel’s, Tacos Plaza, Riggatti’s, Daylight Donuts or Honolulu Grill). The $79 package includes the book, one of the $20 gift cards and a $50 gift card to Fiesta Fun.
For $125, you’ll get everything the $79 package includes along with either a 50-minute massage at Melted Massage or 10 car washes at Fabulous Freddy’s. The $165 package includes both the massage and the car washes, plus everything else.
Books and holiday bonus packages are available for purchase exclusively at the Dixie Direct office in St. George. Office hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday, and the office will also be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 23 for last-minute Christmas shoppers. Additionally, you can call the office and pay in advance with a credit card to reserve your package.

The 2024 edition is loaded with savings of up to 50% at more than 300 local businesses, including 80 restaurants and entertainment destinations like Fiesta Fun, Laser Mania, Tuacahn and The Stage Door. You’ll also find deals for 10 golf courses in St. George and Mesquite plus discounts on health, beauty, auto services, home improvement, shopping, travel and much more.
Dixie Direct also has a free app for iOS and Android that helps customers quickly and easily find deals at participating businesses without needing to bring the book along – just make sure you have your card. Offers are valid through Oct. 31, 2024.
Chambers created Dixie Direct in 1997 to help local families stretch their budgets a little bit further. The annual savings guide allows buyers to take advantage of discounts and special offers at participating restaurants and retailers throughout the greater St. George area.
“We want people to shop local and keep their money local,” Chambers said. “If you look at the businesses we’ve partnered with, they’re all owned by local people here in town.”
Much more than simply a coupon book, however, Dixie Direct also helps raise money for Washington County’s schools by partnering with students to sell copies during the fall. The schools keep half of the profits from each book sold, and the students who sell the most books win prizes ranging from free swag to gift cards for local restaurants, stores and activities.
