Ally Tippetts, the newest addition to the Desert Sands Aesthetics & Laser team, will start seeing patients in mid-October. Tippetts is a certified physician assistant, wife and mom of an adventurous little boy. She’s passionate about her work and helping patients enjoy a higher quality of life through diet, fitness and medicine.
A decade of competitive gymnastics and four years of collegiate diving taught Tippetts the importance of dedication and consistency. After college, she was introduced to the world of Spartan obstacle course racing and ultimately toured nationwide for three years as part of the Spartan Pro Team. She also spent two seasons competing on “American Ninja Warrior.”
“I’m passionate about health, and I love sharing my knowledge with patients in order to help them reach their goals,” she said. “From weight loss and nutrition to hormone replacement and lifestyle enhancement, I’m here for you.”

Originally from Orem, Tippetts moved to sunny St. George in 2022. She earned a bachelor of exercise science from Brigham Young University and completed her physician assistant education at the Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo. She has worked in endocrinology and internal medicine, as well as medical aesthetics, for the past four years.
Tippetts realized in high school she wanted to pursue medicine as a career. She was shadowing a physician assistant and observed an interaction with one of his patients, a young mom who had been struggling to care for herself and her family. During her follow-up appointment, the patient thanked the physician assistant for listening to her concerns, finding an accurate diagnosis and treating her effectively. The results were life-changing, and Tippetts was inspired.
Tippetts strives to provide patients with individualized care for the best possible results. She enjoys correcting hormonal imbalances, assisting with weight loss and overall fitness, and using Botox and fillers to boost self-image and confidence. She uses a combination of evidence-based medicine, preventive techniques and lifestyle changes to empower patients to live happier, more fulfilling lives.
