CEDAR CITY — Local improv comedy group, Off the Cuff, is hosting a fundraising event called “The Sketch Factor” to benefit their annual, multistate Red Rocks Improv Festival.
“The Sketch Factor” event will begin on Friday, Nov. 14, at 7:30 p.m. in the Off the Cuff Theatre located at 913 South Main Street in Cedar City (next to Staples and IFA).
Off the Cuff’s regular evening show will immediately follow the event at 10 p.m. to midnight and be free to fundraiser attendees.
The Red Rocks Improv Festival, hosted by Off the Cuff, is an annual three-day event that over 30+ invited comedy troupes from across the country come to perform and experience Cedar City and Southern Utah. Proceeds from the fundraiser will help pay for the guest performer’s welcome gift packages, show materials and expenses, and Southern Utah excursions.
“The Sketch Factor” is a family-friendly event including exclusive improvised and scripted sketches performed by the Off the Cuff actors and invited guests. Attendees have the opportunity to donate to the cause in addition to the admission ticket by purchasing caricatures (live, hand-drawn sketches of yourself and friends), souvenir items, concessions, and nameable parts of the theatre.
