Donations needed! Christmas for needy families

ED. NOTE Nov. 30, 2015:  This announcement published one year ago for a donation drive during the 2014 Christmas holiday season. Dixie Advantages Development is not running a donation drive in the 2015 year, Leslie Wade said.

ST. GEORGE – If you are looking for a charity or someone to give to this Christmas holiday season, please consider helping us help others. I understand times are hard for some. If you can’t, please spread the word to others.

I work with special needs adults and we donate to a family or families in need every year and we have been doing this for five years now.

We would like to thank everyone that donated last year and we truly appreciate it as did the recipients of your generous donations. Last year we received more donations than the year before and our goal is to do even more this year. We donated to two families with young children last year and the experience was awesome and touching to each person involved. We look forward to this every year now.

We hope to extend gifts to six families in need this year.

Any amount of money or gift certificates will be great. I can pick up locally! For those that are not local, I can give my address.
Once again, thank you so much for your time and donation.

Delivery date to the needy is Dec. 23, 2014.

Sincerely,

Leslie Wade, JK, ML and KJM

This was published 2014, Leslie. If you’ve been contacted perhaps it came up on a google search. 🙂

    Joyce,
I have had to explain to people that it was for last year and they told me that it popped up on their google search. So, I looked for myself and sure enough, it does! Is there a way of deleting it?

No – once published, stays published. But tell you what, Leslie, I’ll put an Ed. note at the top that alerts people to the fact it was a 2014 invitation.
      How does that sound? 🙂
