CEDAR CITY – Bushido Parkour Ninja Fitness is excited to announce the launch of a parkour/ninja warrior gym, a gym devoted to obstacle-based training that will allow people of all ages to have an alternative form of fitness that is challenging and fun. The official launch date for the gym is January 2017.
Bushido Parkour Ninja Fitness believes a parkour/ninja warrior gym will change fitness in Southern Utah. Traditional gyms focus on isolating muscle groups, which will help an individual gain muscle. A parkour/ninja warrior gym puts muscles to work in a practical way, giving practical application to gym workouts.
When open, the gym will feature over 15 obstacles, a core training station with medicine balls and kettle bells, monkey/pull-up bar station and a parkour street set-up. There will also be an app to track members’ achievements and participate in challenges will fellow gym members.
“This gym will redefine fitness for Southern Utah!” Jami Menendez, co-owner with her husband Josh, said “Bushido Parkour Ninja Fitness is for everyone from all walks of life and all ages. Aspiring ninja warriors now have a gym to call home. Moms now have a place to send their kids that will help them learn how to control and benefit from all their crazy energy!”
A KickStarter campaign has been launched to fund the gym. Bushido Parkour Ninja Fitness has until Oct. 11 to raise at least $20,000. Menendez stressed donating and sharing the project page.
“We have a lot to do, and we need everyone’s help to do it! Any donation will help. Share our project with anyone you know. Be a part of the movement,” Menendez said.
