Jeffrey Randall Best

Jeffrey Randall Best, beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend, passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 28, 2024, soon after visiting his mother on her birthday at her home in St. George, Utah. He was 37 years old.

Born on Jan. 9, 1987, in Provo, Utah, to Cindy Johansen Best and Randy Best, Jeffrey was the oldest of four children. He was initially raised in American Fork, Utah, and later moved to St. George, Utah. Jeffrey was a gentle and bright soul who loved God and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Despite enduring many life challenges, Jeffrey carried his belief in God with grace and resilience throughout his life. He had a profound love for his family and his adored children Brayden and Brihanna with all his heart.

Jeffrey had a passion for music and enjoyed spending time with his siblings, particularly playing video games and four-wheeling during his younger years. Above all, he cherished the moments he spent with his children. He was skilled with his hands and took great pride in his cabinetry work as a hobby. Jeffrey had a unique ability to see the good in people, and his kindness and warmth left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Jeffrey is survived by his parents Cindy Johansen Best and Randy Best; his children Brayden and Brihanna; his siblings Ryan (Cherie) Best and Michael Best; his grandfather Marvin Bell; and his aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his sister Ashley Best and his grandmother, Dolly Bell.

A viewing will be held prior to service, from 8-8:45 a.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 3, at 9 a.m., at the Bloomington Hills Chapel located at 1130 E Brigham Rd., St. George, Utah.  Interment will be at the Tonaquint Cemetery, 1777 S Dixie Dr, St. George, Utah, under the direction of McMillan Mortuary.

Jeffrey’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. We find comfort in the knowledge that we will be together again, forever. May he rest in peace until that joyous reunion.
