March 14, 1956-June 20, 2024

Sydney Spackman passed away peacefully in St. George Utah on June 20, 2024, surrounded by her family. Sydney was born on March 14, 1956, in Ogden, Utah to Dallan and Carol Spackman.  

Sydney graduated from Skyview High School in Smithfield, Utah, in 1974 and lived there in her younger years before moving to St. George. Sydney was a huge supporter of law enforcement and eventually completed her police academy training which was one of her proudest achievements.  

Sydney was a huge advocate for animals and loved them unconditionally throughout her entire life. Her love for animals was only exceeded by her love for her family.  

Sydney is survived by her sons Jace Skabelund (Traci), Cody Fagnant (Jamie), Henry Fagnant (Vanessa), Stallone Spackman (Bridget) and her daughter Caroline Pfeiffer. She was a loving and very thoughtful mother to her children and grandchildren. She has a total of 14 grandchildren that she always enjoyed spending time with and loved dearly. Anyone who had spent time with her knew that she was a loving, caring, and sweet soul. 

A graveside service for Sydney will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 28, at Smithfield City Cemetery in Smithfield, Utah.
