MESQUITE, Nev. — Mesquite Gaming, owner of Casablanca Resort and Virgin River Hotel, invites the public to come out Friday to the CasaBlanca Grand Ballroom for the 2018 Health Fair.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will feature vendors that will provide professional health screenings, as well as financial planning services to encourage people to make positive lifestyle changes. Flu shots will also be available.

Among the health screenings to be offered are balance, blood pressure, blood glucose, body mass index, hearing, mental health, oxygen, pain management, vision and more. Health screenings are subject to health providers fees and are subject to change. For blood glucose screenings, participants must fast eight hours prior to test. Management reserves all rights.

Chris Lazzara, vice president of marketing for Mesquite Gaming, said the event is to increase awareness about the health and wellness resources available within the community.

“Mesquite is a tight-knit community and we are proud to operate here,” Lazzara said. “This event is a great opportunity for us to welcome our neighbors into our home and provide them with free or low-cost services that will assist them in making positive changes to their lives.”

The event will also include raffle drawings for attendees every 30 minutes. Prizes include gift baskets, gift cards, gym memberships, movie tickets, designer sunglasses, spa services and more. Guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy a complimentary chair massage during the event.

This makes sense. People can’t lose their money in the casino if they are dead. Well played
