ST. GEORGE – The Region 9 Volleyball coaches met this past week to determine post-season region honors. Twin towers Charity Bradley and Rachel Winters of Region 9 champion Desert Hills were selected Co-MVPs. Bradley and Winters were previously selected as the preseason picks as Region 9 Co-Players of the Year. Desert Hills finished the year with a 25-8 record and a runner-up finish at the Utah 3A State Tournament.
“It was a delight to coach two of the best outside hitters in the state this year,” said Desert Hills head coach Jill Swaney. “They really complemented each other on the court.
