VIRGIN RIVER GORGE, Ariz. – A commercial vehicle rollover in the northbound lanes of Interstate 15 is blocking the entrance to the Virgin River Gorge near mile marker 13 in Arizona.
Sgt. John T. Bottoms with the Arizona Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol Division advises motorists to use Old Highway 91 as an alternate route. Motorists traveling south are not affected.
Northbound motorists are being diverted to take the alternate route.
Alternate route
Motorists may use Highway 91 as an alternate route. The highway bypasses the gorge entirely, intersecting with I-15 at Exit 8 in Littlefield, Arizona, to the south and connecting to St. George at the north via Santa Clara and Sunset Boulevard.

I haven,t gone thru the gorge in 6 yrs, it’s getting worse, back road rte 91 is nice, quiet oh fin t tell anyone.. Too many problems in gorge.. My friends say no one goes 55 in gorge many go 69-79-80. Because no police around.
I don’t have to deal with traffic because that’s why I hired a chauffeur and a pilot for my global transportation needs. well I have to get going I’m going to have a business luncheon with President elect Donald Trump tomorrow
