Lynnette Oldroyd Milne, 68, was surrounded by family when she passed away, after a long battle with cancer, on Oct. 8, 2016. She was born to George Kay and Shirley Taylor Oldroyd on June 4, 1948, in Richfield, Utah.

After graduating from College of Southern Utah, Lyn married Michael Lee Milne on July 17, 1970, in the St. George temple. Together they moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she was employed at Hughes Executive Airport as executive assistant.

She soon fulfilled her ultimate dream of becoming a mother to Carey (Tyler), Kaycee (Travis), and Taylor (Kathrin) and raised them to share her passion for music, supporting them in their various musical endeavors.

She loved nothing more than her family and found joy in creating beautiful quilts, hiking, reading and traveling with her sweetheart, their favorite escape being the cabin they built together in Pine Valley, Utah.

She was a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and dearly loved her service in primary and seminary programs and as ordinance worker in the Las Vegas temple.

Lyn is preceded in death by her parents and brother McNeil.

She is survived by her loving spouse Mike; three children; seven grandchildren, Calvin, Liam, Emma, Veda, Eve, Paige and Violet; and siblings Edwin, Mary and Kristine.
