Detectives are looking for information that may help identify the man and woman captured in the photographs shown in this report.

The duo is wanted in connection to a counterfeit bill incident that occurred Tuesday at the Maverik – Adventure’s First Stop – convenience store located on 700 S. River Road, where the man and woman allegedly passed two counterfeit $100 bills, according to the St. George Police Department.

The two were reportedly driving an “older-style” Mitsubishi Lancer with Nevada license plates.

“We are asking the public and local business(es) to take extra care to check cash prior to accepting it,” the Police Department said in a statement Wednesday.

Anyone who recognizes the individuals in the photos or has information about either of their whereabouts is asked to call the St. George Police Department at 435-627-4300 and reference incident 16P021423.
