ST. GEORGE — Police are searching for three suspects who broke into a St. George pharmacy Thursday morning before fleeing in their vehicle.
At approximately 4:15 a.m., officers responded to an alarm at Stapley Pharmacy located at 102 E. City Center St., St. George Police Officer Lona Trombley said.
The three suspects – two men and a woman – can be seen on the pharmacy’s surveillance footage attempting to enter the store with a large garbage can.
When a loud security alarm sounds, the suspects can be seen leaving the store without taking anything, getting into a parked car and driving away.
Despite a prompt response by law enforcement, the three suspects fled the scene prior to officers arriving.
“There was evidence of forced entry into the building,” Trombley said, adding that there was damage to the door of the main entrance.
Anyone who recognizes the three individuals in the surveillance video included with this article is asked to call the St. George Police Department at 435-627-4300.
Persons arrested or charged are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law or as otherwise decided by a trier-of-fact.

Stapley pharmacy gets broken into a lot. Does it look like they broke in there? I’m not seeing it, I’m seeing them walk in the door without a problem. And did these junkies think they were going to fill that trash can with pain pills?
Perhaps outside surveillance would be good for this store.

Oh wow another brilliant comment ! How doo Eye doo it ..
Would hope there was more to it than pushing the door open. maybe the video from before this clip shows the forced entry. why doesnt the security have motion detectors. the alarm company would have been alerted much sooner, the camera was triggered to record, most DVRs have an option to notify of motion detected… seems to me that if they are broken into so often they would turn on the features in their own DVR or get a better alarm system than a costco $299 “Security Cam Kit”
