Charlene Ladonna McNeill-Jones was a resident of Mesquite, Nevada, since 2011. Her previous residence was Valdosta, Georgia, as well as other various cities in Georgia. She was born on September 25, 1973, to Charles McNeill and Margie McArthur-McNeill. Charlene was called home on Saturday, April 23, 2016. She was 42 years young.
Charlene was born in Goldsboro, North Carolina. She lived in various states traveling as a military child and made lifelong friends along the way. She graduated from North Pulaski High School in Jacksonville, Arkansas, in 1991. She then attended Arkansas State University for the following 2 years. She was a dedicated and well-loved associate and manager during her 24-year career at Walmart. She loved to dance, read and shop! Her love for purses and shoes made her a true fashionista!! She was especially in love with anything to do with an owl … especially jewelry or figurines. She loved 4-wheeling and various other outdoor activities. Charlene was a very dedicated mother, daughter, sister, auntie and friend. She had such a radiant smile and took the time to help others.
She is survived by her two beloved children Jasmine and Jordan Jones. Her loving parents, Charles and Margie McNeill from Valdosta, Georgia. Her sister Sharon Howard and husband, Javon, from Las Vegas, Nevada. Her brother Alex McNeill and wife, Kandi, from Valdosta, Georgia, and her grandmother, Annie James-McNeill from Lillington, North Carolina.
She also leaves behind her nieces Amaria Barner, Alanna McNeill and Jaszia Howard; her nephews LJ Barner, Eric McNeill, Sean McNeill and Shane McNeill; as well as her aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends who loved her.
Funeral Services
- Funeral services will be held on Monday May 2, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Palms Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Las Vegas, Nevada 89123.
