Michael William Bain, 46, of Oceanside, California, passed away on January 13, 2015. He was born Sunday May 11, 1968, on Mother’s Day in Salt Lake City, Utah, to parents William Bain and Mafalda Jolie Espin.
He lived in San Jose, California; Kaysville, Utah; Logan, Utah; St. George, Utah; Logan, Utah; Salt Lake City, Utah; and Oceanside, California.
He attended Dixie High School and graduated from Pine View High School.
Michael served a mission for the LDS church to Trujillo, Peru, from 1987 to 1989.
He attended then Dixie College and graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor of Arts in political science in June 1992.
Michael married Laurie Nelson in the St. George Temple in June 1990. They had four children together. The divorced in December 2000. He married Janina Rhein February 19, 2002, in Logan, Utah. They had three children together.
Michael is survived by his loving wife Janina, his children Breanna, Landon, Braden, Rylee, Keegan, Kaisen and Kaisley, his Mother Jolie Bain, his sisters Celest Bain and Estelita Aston, his nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
His adventurous spirit, life, and talents will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, at the LDS church on 1222 East Brigham Rd., Bloomington Hills, Utah. Family and close friends may gather at noon. The burial will follow the memorial at the St. George Cemetery.
