ST. GEORGE — A St. George woman is in jail after being arrested by the Washington County Drug Task Force Friday for distribution of methamphetamine, and for concealing meth inside the area of her bra which was discovered during a pre-booking search at the jail.
Over the span of two months, confidential informants allegedly purchased meth from 34-year-old Lindsay Connelley, of St. George, task force Detective E. Judy said in his probable cause statement supporting the arrest. One of those controlled buys took place in July 2014 and the other two in August 2014.
The Task Force conducted the many controlled buys weeks apart to help protect the identity of their confidential informants as well as to help solidify the case, St. George Police Lt. Mark Brklacich said.
“It shows that there is actual distribution and it’s not just a one-time thing,”Brklacich said, “but that this person is continually selling to people.”
All three controlled buys overseen by the Task Force were conducted within drug-free zones, with at least one being within 1,000 feet of Pine View High School in St. George and another within 1,000 feet of a chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, according to Judy’s probable cause statements. Because of this, Connelly’s distribution charges were increased to first-degree felonies.
During a search of her person during pre-booking at the jail, Washington County Sheriff’s deputies discovered baggies of a crystal-like substance in Connelley’s bra, Brklacich said. The substance later tested positive for methamphetamine.
Connelly was originally charged with three first-degree felonies for methamphetamine distribution and one third-degree felony for possession of a controlled substance in a correctional facility. Her bail is set at $40,000.
Update Sept. 14, 2022: In February 2015, Connelly pleaded guilty to a second-degree felony charge of possession of a controlled substance in a correctional facility. She was sentenced to 36 months probation and received a suspended prison sentence.

The”buys” took place in 2013 & she is just now being arrested for it?
My mistake, Smith – 2014. Over-focus on the turn of the year tripped me up. Thank you for calling it to my attention, correction has been made and noted.

LOL to funny.. Yeah she was going to break it out when the pizza and beer got there
Just correction. The task force conducted their buys in July 2014/ August 2014 not 2013. Not sure if all charges are first degree as stated. Thanks.
Yes, 2014. As I replied to Smith, my over-focus on the turn of the year tripped me up. Correction has been made and noted.

Another fine upstanding citizen in a very long line, very long line.
Dang tweeker.
Kinda odd that women stash drugs in their bras. Just imagine her showing up at the next latch-on event, and ooops, a bag of dope falls out? Could she use the “that bra isn’t mine” ploy? Did it test positive for methamphetamilk?
LOL
Just another unlicensed pharmacist trying to expand her sales territory.
where are you getting your information because this is not the best information! who tries to smuggle in!? More like remnants of the substance was found and tested, not baggies!? and dates may have been wrong and corrected the whole story should be. you cant write the parts that sounds the best and then embellish them to make a good story! She will be punished accordingly but there is absolutely no need to make it sound worse then it is to get noticed!
Busted!
Always nice to have another dumb pie off the streets!
“and another within 1,000 feet of a chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints”
LOL, like you could be doing anything anywhere in this state without that fitting the description.
