No Filter: Where to buy your next used car

ADVERTORIAL / ST. GEORGE – Located on St. George Boulevard next to Irmita’s Mexcian Food in St. George, Premier Car and Truck offers one of the cleanest inventories of used vehicles in town. In-house financing allows for all types of borrowers to walk onto the lot and consistently drive away with a great deal on a clean used car or truck.

Ron Caplin, owner of Premier Car and Truck, has hand-picked an honest and knowledgeable staff, he said, that can assist anyone with their next purchase.

Ron Caplin and his wife Jan Caplin have raised their family here in St. George and have been an integral part of the community. They have been longtime supporters of high school sporting events and, although they wouldn’t tell you themselves, they donate their time and talents to many charitable organizations such as United Way.

In this Episode 14 of the “No Filter Show,” Paul Ford and Grady Sinclair go on location at Premier Car and Truck. They get to know the staff and even test drive a very cool truck. So check out this video and then go check out the inventory at Premier Car and Truck for your next great deal on a used vehicle. Whether you have good, bad or no credit, with over 80 cars and trucks in stock, the staff at Premier Car and Truck can help you find the mode of transportation that you need and deserve.

They’ve got hot popcorn ready to serve and Grady Sinclair said he’d run down and personally blow up a helium balloon at no extra charge!

If these two yahoos endorse a used car lot, that will be the ONE PLACE I won’t ever go to find a car!

They are friends with Jeremy Johnson, they endorse used car lots — the poster that commented that these are a couple of D-bags might be spot on…

  • Joe Smith December 30, 2014 at 11:14 am

The prices are to the moon. It’s pretty typical of a used car lot around here. There’s also another one right next to it. I wonder if Jeremy Johnson works there as a used car salesman. Who would like to buy form Jeremy 😀 hahahah

  • Koolaid December 30, 2014 at 12:12 pm

    • justcap December 30, 2014 at 12:53 pm

    • My Evil Twin December 31, 2014 at 3:30 am

Never pretended to be an “expert” on sales. If you look really, really close at my post, you will see that I was bashing the two clowns that are doing these No Filter “shows.” If the business chooses to use them to advertise, then it is the business owner’s decision. If he makes “bad decisions,” that “ain’t my fault.”

      • Evil twins mommy December 31, 2014 at 9:43 am

        Yes it is

  • Honest Abe December 30, 2014 at 6:22 pm

The Caplin are an honorable family. All three generations that I personly know. Ron has been in the car business long before most the folks moved here to So. Utah. He always been fair and always backs up what he sales. In all of my purchases. As far as any negative comments, made by the less desirables on this site, they are completely unfounded. Because I know this family, and read these comments daily, I know for certain who the liars are.

    • Albemarle December 30, 2014 at 9:42 pm

Well said Honest Abe. The Caplins and this business are top notch. Little Joe and Evil Twin and Koolaids have no clue what they are talking about. Other than little joey commenting on prices (so maybe in his opinion they are high), all other comments by these three are just more spouting off about things they know nothing of. I know that the prices are actually very, very fair. A great business run by great people.

A suggestion for Evil Twins Mommy.
Maybe the little man needs to be taken out back and shown how to be respectful. Then have him read the latest job posting classified.

          • Evil twins mommy December 31, 2014 at 6:45 am

    • Chris December 31, 2014 at 10:27 am

“backs up what he sales” Yes, you are definitely a native. Don’t know the difference between “sales” and “sells.”

      • Harry the cable guy December 31, 2014 at 11:01 am

Oooh Oooh I know the difference the letter e is in a different place…… get er done

      • Joe Smith December 31, 2014 at 11:44 am

Boy must know how to sale a car since he knows the business of car sells so well..

  • walkingman December 31, 2014 at 8:10 am

I was hoping to read different opinions about this and other used car dealers in our beloved city:-) Instead of personal jabs at the posters. The publisher stated clearly it was an “advertorial” and I’m ok with that. We ALL have to make a buck and as long as we are up front about it that’s fine. That being said, I 100% agree with the poster who bashed 4 seasons. With the reputation they have gained I’m surprised they are still in business. On the flip side, I have bought 3 used cars from Greg Gentry at Utah Car and Truck and although his prices were a little high he backed up what he sold. We bought a Jetta from him and within a month it needed some unforeseen repairs. I’m sure it took most if not all of his profit to make it right. But he did.

    • Joe Smith December 31, 2014 at 10:43 am

From what I’ve noticed most all of these “we finance anyone” places are at least a little shady. With the price of used junk what it is, if a person can get the loan they’d be better off buying new. I might buy used from wade. Prices perhaps also high, but your risk is lower than one of these hometown private lots that might sell you a lemon, and I’m not sure Utah has any kind of lemon laws, so you’re basically burned…

  • Joe Neuman January 1, 2015 at 8:25 am

Go over and take a look at the inventory at Utah Car and Truck. Then walk across the street and see what Hector at Munoz Auto Sales has, company the prices. Hector has been selling cars in the same location for over 20 years. Tell him I sent you 😀

    • Joe Neuman January 1, 2015 at 8:28 am

Am I going to be the only person to use their real name?

      • ladybugavenger January 1, 2015 at 10:10 pm

That’s your real name? My name is real too. my Christmas stocking said so 😉
