I’m so glad you do this! We’ve needed an event guide in SU for years.
I like it too!
There is zero mention of having to sand bag in front of my house to re-route the flood waters!
I hear there is a gem and mineral show at the Washington County Fairgrounds today and tomorrow. I haven’t been able to find much information on it. Does STG News know anything about it?
Interesting you ask, sagemoon. One of our “friends” just posted on our Facebook and we’re inquiring for more information. Below is what she posted (unedited) – we’ll add to our TGIF, with a hyperlink to a Web page if we get one.
“This Friday & Saturday from 10am-7 pm (both days) out at the fairgrounds there will be an awesome rock and gem show. IT’S FREE ADMISSION !!! There will anything and everything to chose from. PLUS Tonaquint Intermediate School will be there doing a fundraiser selling World Famous Chocolate Bars for $2 each or $60 a box. ALL PROCEEDS from the fundraiser are going towards a new computer lab for the school. So come on out, see some amazing rocks and gems and get some chocolate. Great way to spend the weekend!! (Picture of chocolates in comments)” – Anissa Tabor
Hope that helps,
