ST. GEORGE – The victim of a fatal car crash on state Route-18 Thursday night has been identified; the accident cause remains under investigation.
The victim was identified as Connie Jo Allen, 54, of North Las Vegas, Nev. She was driving the car when it went off the road and rolled over several times around 10:30 p.m. Thursday near SR-18 milepost 7. Allen was ejected and declared dead at the scene. No one else was inside the vehicle or involved in the accident.
The cause of the accident is still unknown. St. George Police Department detectives and accident reconstruction specialists are investigating.
