WASHINGTON – Police arrested a 37-year-old Washington woman Sunday during an investigation into a recent recreational vehicle burglary.
Ed Kantor, public information officer for the Washington City Police Department, said an RV in a storage lot on East Telegraph Road had been burglarized.
An investigation by police led to the arrest of the woman for the burglary and theft of property stored in the RV. She was also found to be in possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia at the time of her arrest.
Kantor said several articles of stolen property from the RV were recovered during the course of the investigation, which is ongoing.
The woman was booked into jail on two counts of third degree felony burglary of a nondwelling, one count of second degree theft, two counts of second degree felony warrants, and three counts of drug-related class B misdemeanor. Bail has been set at $41,000.
