People remember the speed limit is 20 thru the contruction zone not the 40 and over you have been driving!
I like how they call it “improvements”, when it looks (and feels) like they’re just creating a jigsaw puzzle out of asphalt. Unless they’re planning on putting another layer of asphalt over the whole road, which I highly doubt, I don’t see how it’s going to last very long. Even some of the seams between the new and old asphalt already have gaps in them. We’ve known for a long time that the roads around here are terrible, but why are we doing construction and then putting it back in worse shape than it was to start with? Seriously.
It’s the City’s effort to create and maintain jobs for the area. When this project is done, enough time will have passed that it will be time to re-do it all over again.
Also, the statement is posted on whose Facebook? Maybe a link?
