Man taken to hospital after rollover

ST. GEORGE – A man was transported to the hospital Friday afternoon after rolling his truck on Snow Canyon Parkway.

Officer Rich Rodgers of the Santa Clara/Ivins Police Department said witnesses told police the man was driving fast and ended up rolling into a wash on the right side of the road around 3 p.m.

Both St. George and Santa Clara/Ivins police responded to the scene. Rodgers said the man was transported by ambulance to Intermountain Healthcare Southwest Region’s Dixie Regional Medical Center. The extent of the man’s injuries has not yet been reported.

Santa Clara/Ivins Police is currently investigating the scene of the accident.

The posted speed limit on Snow Canyon Parkway is 40 mph, which lowers to 35 mph as drivers approach Ivins.
