St. George police arrest Iowa man on drug charges

ST. GEORGE – A 24-year old male, from Des Moines, Iowa, caught the attention of a St. George Policeman last night.  The man was sleeping in a vehicle at the Pilot Truck Stop in Bloomington.

The officer spoke with the man and became suspicious.  A narcotics dog sniffed around the vehicle and alerted there were illegal narcotics inside.

Officers searched through the vehicle and found eight pounds of cocaine and 12 pounds of marijuana.  The drugs were hidden in a compartment inside the vehicle.

The man was arrested and booked into jail.

    Yes, if you’re carrying weed and coke in your vehicle. Then it is.
