ST. GEORGE – The Cedar Redman and the Desert Hills Thunder meet for the second time in four weeks.
The Redman beat the Thunder 48-20 on October 14 in the last regular game of the season. Today’s semifinal game will be played at Hansen Stadium on the campus of Dixie St. College. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m.
Cedar dominated the first meeting but the Thunder had a few key players out with injuries.
Cedar rushed for over 400 yards in the game, with running back Hayden Bishop scoring three rushing touchdowns. On the flip side the Thunder only had 18 yards rushing.
Thunder quarterback Porter Harris has a broken finger on his throwing hand.
This game was going to be played at University of Utah but was moved to Dixie St. College to save money on travel with the hope to get more students to attend the game. The championship game will be played at University of Utah.
