WASHINGTON CITY – Dollar Cuts in Southern Utah is holding a Facebook contest for a local cover model.
Girls ages 13 and older can enter the contest, but girls under the age of 18 must have parent’s permission.
The winner of the contest will have her hair done at Dollar Cuts and will then have a photo shoot. Those photos will be used for local social media and online advertising campaigns. The winner has no further obligation with Dollar Cuts.
Dollar Cuts chose to use local girls in their advertising campaign to show that the every day girl in Southern Utah is just as worthy of being a cover model as the models used in national ads.
Girls may upload their photos on the Dollar Cuts Facebook page from now until Nov. 4. People can then vote for their favorite entry on Nov. 5-6. The winner will be chosen on Nov. 7 by Dollar Cuts marketing staff and will have a photo shoot on Nov. 8.
