DSC’s Red Storm defeat Urban Knights
 in men’s soccer

ST. GEORGE – Jordan Roylance had a pair of goals and Tyler Arbuckle cashed in as the game winner early in the second half en route to DSC’s 4-1 win in Pacific West Conference action over the Academy of Art at Hansen Stadium this weekend.

DSC remained undefeated in PWC play at 2-0, while improving to 3-2-1 on the season.

The Urban Knights fell to 1-5 on the year and 0-2 in league.
 
AAU took the lead in the 32nd minute when Aron Eckberg beat Tyler Walters into the right corner for a 1-0 lead.
 
Roylance found an equalizer, netting a goal off a Nyle Ortiz entry header in the 42nd minute.
 
Arbuckle earned his 62nd minute goal by running unabated down the middle of the field. Erik Shallenberger held control of the ball streaking down the right side and found Arbuckle unchecked for the goal.
 
A second Roylance goal came via second effort as his first effort bounced off the crossbar and into open territory. Roylance won the battle for the ball and rolled it into the net for a 3-1 lead.
 
Joshua Cook added an insurance goal in the 87th minute.
 
Walters evened his mark to 2-2 between the posts.

The Red Storm face Biola University on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in a non-conference matchup at Hansen.
