RICHFIELD – The Canyon View Falcons are 2-0 after a 22-20 win over Richfield. The Falcons were led by Dakota Marshall, who rushed for 91 yards and two touchdowns. Marshall added a third touchdown in the 3rd quarter on a 55-yard punt return.
The Falcon defense was led by Nate Hansen who had 22 tackles. Santiago Palacio added to the mix, making a 39-yard field goal late in the 3rd quarter to put Canyon View up 22-13.
The Falcons have this week off before embarking on their Region 9 schedule. First up are the Desert Hills Thunder, September 9, at 7 p.m.
