ST. GEORGE – Dixie State College of Utah will hold a special grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony for its new Dixie State Store, located just east of the DSC campus on 1037 East 100 South, on Tuesday, Nov. 23. There will be free refreshments and a prize drawing during the open house, which will run from 1 to 4 p.m.
The new Dixie State Store, which opened last month during DSC’s Centennial Homecoming Week, is an off-campus DSC retail outlet managed by the DSC Bookstore staff. The new location is the home for officially licensed Dixie State apparel, gifts and memorabilia, including DSC designs exclusive to the new location.
“I am very proud of our new bookstore satellite location,” says T. Randy Judd, DSC Executive Director of Auxiliary Services. “Our new store is easy to get to and is a great addition to the community and our campus.”
The store also serves as the bookstore for the Dixie Applied Technology College, and offers textbooks, office supplies and backpacks, along with wireless internet and copier services. Normal business hours are Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-to-6 p.m., and 9 a.m.-3 p.m., on Saturdays.
