Suspected bank robber may face additional charges

ST.GEORGE – Suspected bank robber Aldo Sanchez, 20, may face additional charges after officers at the Washington County Jail discovered Sanchez was using a false identity after being arrested on Tuesday by St. George police officers for allegedly robbing the Beehive Credit Union at gunpoint.

Sanchez used a valid Nevada driver's license in the name Kristopher Kenneth Johnson, said officer Johnny Heppler. Investigators are still determening if Kristopher Kenneth Johnson is a real identity.

Sanchez and his suspected accomplice, Brett Danny Shumway, are being held in purgatory on charges of aggravated robbery. The FBI is also investigating the case
