WASHINGTON COUNTY, UTAH – Hot Shot Images of Hurricane, Utah, has teamed up with Salt Lake City’s premier modeling agency, Echo Model Management, to find the newest top models. The Hot Shot Model Search is designed to help models be discovered by a legitimate agency. Model Search winners will have the chance to meet with the professionals from Echo Model Management, whose models are currently working all over the world.
To enter, contestants register at www.hotshotimages.biz/model by Oct. 17, and pay a $15 processing fee. Models will upload three photos and fill out a basic form that includes their stats. The models will never be asked to make any further financial commitment, or be asked to purchase products or services.
The first round of judging will be based on three contestant submitted photos. The panel of judges will be comprised of experts in their respective fields; including fashion design, pageantry, magazine publication and modeling. Hot Shot Images will not be involved or influence the judging in any way.
Each judge will choose his or her favorite contestants from each category. Contestants with the highest percentage of overall judge’s votes will be selected as finalists.
Finalists will be announced publicly and posted on the website. Each finalist will participate in the “Finalist Fashion Photo Shoot” held at The Villa Gardens in St. George, Utah, and will receive free photos for their portfolio from Hot Shot Images. This will be an exciting event with professional hair stylists, make-up artists, photographers and clothing designers.
Hot Shot Images will choose two photos for each finalist that will be used in the second round of judging. The finalist photos will be posted on the model search website for public voting.
Three top models, one from each age category, will be selected based on the total score each model receives from online voting and judges’ votes. The judges’ votes will consist of 60 percent of the final score. The grand prize winners will be announced at a public event on New Year's Eve, and the winners will be featured in a photo spread in southern Utah's premier lifestyle magazine, Élan Woman.
Echo Model Management will use both rounds of judging to search for new talent. Contestants who are not picked as finalists may still be contacted by Echo Model Management to discuss a possible contract.
Grand prizes for the top three models will include a fashion photo shoot, a custom designed website from Hot Shot Images, an appearance in Élan Woman magazine, designer clothing from high-profile designer Danny Nappi of Nappi Clothing and vendors such as Bella Donna Boutique of St. George, Utah, as well as a guaranteed interview with Echo Model Management.
